HEATLESS WAVES

MESSY BUN

For this style, begin with your hair in a ponytail. Place the ponytail wherever you like it best: high or low, sleek or messy, there is no right or wrong way to do it.

Next, braid the hair and tie the ends with an elastic. (Tip: try to make all three sections of the braid as even as possible in both the amount of hair and the length of hair).

Twist braid around the original hair tie and secure in place with three to four bobby pins.

Pinch at the braid to loosen it and make the style messier. If you prefer a neater, more sleek bun, you can skip this step all together.

LOW PONY WITH A TWIST

For this style, leave out the hair from ear forward and secure the rest into a low pony.

Next, gather the hair that was left out and tie it in a small elastic just above the ponytail. Twist it up and over. Loosen the hair tie just slightly and twist the hair to make a circle.

Pull it over the ponytail so that the elastic is now below the ponytail. Tighten the elastic and adjust the hair as necessary.

Add some texture spray to the ponytail for added movement and volume.

HALF UP HALF DOWN

For this style, begin with a small section at the crown. Feel free to play around with the size, there is no right or wrong amount, just whatever you prefer. Secure with an elastic. Small, clear elastics or ones similar in color to your hair work great.

Pull the elastic down slightly to loosen the section. Part the section in the center and flip the hair in this section through it.

Gather hair from both sides of you hair and secure with another elastic directly below it. Flip this section up and over itself just as with the previous section.

Use your fingers to pinch and pull at the sections to make them appear more full and big.

A few tendrils around your face help to soften this style. Add a cute clip or ribbon to dress up this style.

Additional option: Continue this pattern as you work all the way down your head, incorporating all of your hair to create an elevated low pony.

ROMANTIC UPDO

For this style, begin with the previous “Half Up, Half Down“ style.

Place all of the remaining hair in a braid directly below the twists and secure with an elastic.

Pinch and pull at the braid to loosen it (you can do this once the braid is secured as well).

Flip the braid up toward the top of your head and tuck the braid into the twist. Secure with two bobby pins at the top, one on each side.

Place a couple more bobby pins on each side of the braid or until it feels secure.

Adjust as necessary, gently pinching and pulling at the edges of the braid to make it appear bigger and looser. Spray with your favorite hairspray.
